About this tour

Due to its location, Cuba is highly attractive for nautical sports and especially for sport fishing. The deep basins and trenches of the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and the straits of Florida and the Bahamas serve as ecological barriers in the distribution and transit of many fish, while large ocean currents connect it with the routes of pelagic and migratory species, which join the rich ichthyofauna of its insular platform.

In this opportunity you will be able to experience fly fishing, spinning, vertical giiging and bottom fishing.

Program

  • Pick up at the hotels in Cayo Coco and Guillermo to the embarkation point.
  • Navigation and fishing by boat through the channels of the Cays from Paredon Grande to Megano. This is an incredible fishing area.
  • Return to the hotels.

TIPS: • Recommended: light clothing, swimwear, sunglasses, hats or caps, tennis, sandals or comfortable shoes and photographic camera.

  • <span><strong>Deep Sea Fishing:</strong> All year round and you can catch species such as: Snappers, Cuberas, Jocu, High Snapper, Tuna, Sharks, Sierras, Sobacos, Jiguaguas, Gallegos and Barracudas.</span>
  • <span><strong>Spinning fishing:</strong> It is done all year round and you can catch species such as: Tarpon, Jiguagua, Cuberas, Jocu, Pargo Criollo, Barracudas, Gallegos, Dorados and Agujas. This fishing uses the Tag and Release method.</span>
  • <span><strong>Fly fishing:</strong> It is done all year round and species such as bonefish, permit and tarpon are fished, the latter only from April to August. This fishing uses the Tag and Release method.</span>
